The Cook County Funeral Directors Association is available to all funeral directors, to enhance professional development and stay informed.

This Association was originally founded as District 2A, under the auspices of the Illinois Funeral Directors Association. Still under district jurisdiction, not only has the name changed, but the mission of this Association is clear...to "provide high quality information and support to members in the Greater Chicago and Cook County region.

What We Do

In keeping with our mission, we will strive to provide pertinent information and superior learning opportunities for our membership.

• Meetings held in central location to benefit the large geographical region 
• Interesting presentations that will be important for day to day operations
• Provide an outlet for members to present issues and solutions
• Provide a forum for all funeral directors and embalmers
